FAQ

How is a bead pattern different from a normal pixel image?

It maps to real board sizes and a limited bead palette, and counts how many beads of each colour you need.

Are brand palettes official?

No—brand colours are community/open RGB approximations. Real beads vary; match against beads you own.

Do you upload my photos?

By default processing and preview stay in your browser; we do not store your image content on our servers. See the privacy policy.

When should I use dithering?

Dither mixes neighbouring bead colours to approximate gradients. Fewer colours are easier to place, with a dotted look instead of smooth blends.
